Unboxing and handling :
Contrary to what one might think, it is not leather, but polyurethane. And again contrary to what one might think, it does not hurt. The touch is soft and pleasant, almost addictive. The cover is perfectly adjusted even if the flap is slightly too short in my opinion (it lacks only 3 millimeters to the right to completely cover the screen). The cover consists of a hard plastic (“gum” feeling) on which is pasted a polyurethane coating. All plugs and buttons are accessible except (as with all “book” type models) the volume.
This cover is real nice to the touch, which makes it very pleasant to use. The flap does not have a system to keep it close. This has advantages (faster and easier to open) and disadvantages (will opens in a fall, thus reducing the protection). But clearly this case is more decorative than protective. In fact, it offers a great look to your smartphone, but do not protect the best: the flap opens by itself and sides of the phone are not fully protected by the plastic case. That said, the protection is still more effective than a phone without case.
Some may regret the absence s-view functionnality.
A nice product, so nice that it knows how to “hide” its lack in the protection.
